I don't know about you. But for me I have never "really" known my insurance guy. I would go in to the company set up insurance and pay, pay, pay. I met Lane Stermer when I moved to Phoenix 8 years ago. I needed insurance and I went down to his office to get it set up. I was pleasantly surprised when he did a whole lot more than just ask what I wanted. He talked to me about options and advantages/ disadvantages to each piece of coverage. We talked about goals and what if's and in the end I had a much greater understanding of what I was paying for and why. I know I can go online and get a super cheap rate... I also know that I would be giving up the coverage that would really benefit me by doing so. I am grateful I finally found an agent who took the time to really help me understand. Like I said, I have been with Lane for over 8 years now. Not only has he provided excellent customer service but I found out his golf game isn't too shabby either. Lane has been their for me and my family through a massive car accident and a home burglary.... He is great at what he does. I know he could help you. In closing, I have a close friend that I was talking with and the subject of insurance came up. we talked about a lot of the different reasons we use who we use. I asked my friend, "Do you like your agent? Do you really know him?" He said: "No I don't like him, he's a bit rude and I don't know anything about him". I told him how my agent is a true friend. We play golf together, we go to lunch from time to time and most recently we went on a hunting trip. From me to you... I would recommend you meet with Lane and learn what it is to have a great agent. You may make a friend who you are happy to give your business to.
